Music headlines Tuesday Night Live in Johnson; but, it is also a celebration of summer for the whole community.
Folks visit, dance, break bread together, enjoy homemade pie, and have fun.
Soule Indomitable is up next on August 29th as the TNL season rocks along from 6 to 8:30 PM on the Tuesday Night Live Outdoor Stage on Legion Field, School Street.
Soule Indomitable combines hand crafted funk and groove with soulful and exploratory jams. The musicians are Bob Wagner (guitar & vocals), Josh Weinstein (bass), Ray Paczkowski (keys) and Russ Lawton (drums). With their Vermont roots, their music will provide the a grand welcome for the returning JSC students.
Volunteer groups and vendors offer lots to talk about and a great selection of summer treats. Eric Nuse will have an exhibit featuring paddling in the Lamoille watershed at the Conservation Commission tent. The trail maps that were rained out last week will be available as well. Learn how to recycle food scraps with Elly Ventura at the Lamoille Regional Solid Waste District tent.
Is there anything that beats a slice of homemade pie including blueberry, blackberry, apricot, apple & more, decadent chocolate varieties; and maple combinations plus Alice’s German chocolate cake at the Johnson Historical Society tent.
There will also be McKenzie hot dogs and potato salad.
Other vendors include JJ's Maple Cotton Candy, Green Mountain Kettle Corn, Papa Gyro, Hot Tamale, Kingdom Creamery, Mediterranean Mix, Nepalese Himalayan Food, Northern Fire and Slice, Big Jay Tavern, Miso Hungry Noodle Bowls, and Caja Madera Taco Truck.
Tuesday Night Live is a free, family friendly event thanks to local businesses who sponsor the event.
