Interfaith Discussion

Sponsored by the Greater Stowe Interfaith Coalition

WHERE DO WE GO FROM HERE? After a rousing Interfaith Gathering of Human Rights and Dignity earlier this week we've scheduled our "next step". Please join us for an all-community open discussion at Black Cap Coffee, August 30th, 8am, and / or at the Stowe Free Library on August 31 at 7:30.

Facilitators for these discussions will be leaders of the Greater Stowe Interfaith Coalition, The Rev. Rick Swanson, St. John’s in the Mountains Episcopal Church, and Rabbi David Fainsilber, Jewish Community of Greater Stowe.

We will be discussing confederate monuments in the U.S.: Why there are those who want to take them down and those who wish to keep them up; how we understand history and collective memory.
