Stone Valley Arts Literary Open Mic will be held Friday, August 25 at 7:00 p.m. at Stone Valley Arts at Fox Hill, (stone church across from Poultney High School). Poets, Storytellers, Spoken Word Artists in all genres are invited to perform your own original poems, slam pieces, classics, or other favorites. The stories have been great, including several that have been recently published in new books by local authors who frequent the SVA open mic. It's like having NPR's "The Moth" story hour right here in Poultney. Come to perform, or just to be entertained, and bring a friend. Check out this historic building built in 1822! This event is free and everyone is welcome.
