The book sale is right around the corner, this coming Saturday, Aug. 26th from 9am to 5pm at the Worcester Town Hall. We will be at the hall from 12:00pm to 5:00pm on Thursday and Friday (8/24 and 8/25) accepting book donations, sorting into categories and setting up for the sale. (Please, no dirty or mildewed books, text books, or Reader's Digest condensed books). Once again, all books will be 50 cents.

Preparing for winter is not just about putting up storm windows and getting snow tires put on. We need to take care of our mental and spiritual selves as well. One of our volunteers says she likes to go into the winter with 100 books to read! I love that idea. Come and connect with your neighbors and stock up on inspiring and entertaining reading so when the snow flies you can pull up the armchair close to the fire, get cozy with a good book and say "Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow".
