Washington County Mental Health Services, along with the Vermont Association of Mental Health and Addiction Recovery, will be hosting a free, public forum titled- "Mental Health Crises and Services in Washington County- What Do We Have? What Do We Need?" on the evening of Thursday, August 24th from 6:30 to 8:00pm at the Waitsfield Elementary School.

This is an opportunity to engage in dialogue with providers and other interested community members about mental health and addiction services in central Vermont, along with other topics as they arise such as education, homelessness, stigma and other important issues. This is the 3rd in a series of forums being hosted this summer and fall, and the first two forums yielded meaningful and productive conversations.

The forum will be hosted by Peter Mallary from VAMHAR. Mary Moulton, WCMHS Executive Director will sit on the panel along with others from the Mad River Valley Community.
