The Valley Players announce auditions for the suspenseful thriller, Dangerous Corner, by JB Priestly, Sunday August 27 at 1 pm and Monday August 28 at 6:30 pm, at the theater on Main Street (Rt. 100) in Waitsfield. Three men and four women, stage ages 30-60, are sought.
Dangerous Corner takes place in 1932. Robert and Freda Caplan are entertaining guests at their English country retreat. During a discussion about whether it is always best to reveal the complete truth, a chance remark by one of the guests ignites a series of devastating revelations, revealing a hitherto undiscovered tangle of clandestine relationships and dark secrets, the disclosures of which have tragic consequences. Can the characters find a way to avert turning this dangerous corner?
