Rutland Town is in the process of scoping/designing alignments for a new town road, which will extend from the intersection of US7 west and Cold River Road, south to the southern side of Holiday Inn at US7. The project is intended to alleviate the stacking issue at the Holiday Drive/Cop Jon Drive intersection, and allow for a more efficient flow of both through and local traffic in the study area.

On September 14, 2017 there will be a local concerns meeting to gather input from the public regarding this project. It will be at the Rutland Town Office, 181 Business Route 4 at 6:00 pm.
