As a Ward 1 resident and member of Ohavi Zedek Synagogue, I especially want to invite neighbors to stop by the Jewish Food Fair. You don't have to be Jewish to sample (for a modest per piece or scoop charge) a variety of Eastern European, Sephardic and Israeli dishes. If you stop by at 1pm you can also hear a short talk the story recounting the amazing history of the "Lost Shul Mural" now displayed in Ohavi Zedek's lobby. Plus, there will be stories and songs for kids at 11:15am. If you're new to the area, Ohavi Zedek is located at 188 North Prospect Street.
