For the first time in Newport, the 18 piece Swing North Big Band will present their Swinging Epiphany Celebration at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 44 Second Street, Newport, at 7 PM on Saturday, January 4th. It will be in a “lessons & carols” format and will include Jazz carol settings of “Silent Night” and God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen” along with swing standards like “Sing, Sing, Sing” and “All of Me.” All the music will be offered to highlight the familiar prophetic gospel texts that are part of the Christmas story.

There is a suggested donation of $7.50 and it is suggested you call the church office for seat reservations at 802-334-7365. There are only 100 seats available..
