Summer Saunters at Lamphear Brook and Green Mountain Monastery
1. Northern Rivers Land Trust invites the public to a free guided walk in the Lamphear Brook watershed in Albany on Friday, August 25 at 10 a.m.
Orleans County forester Jared Nunnery and NRLT consulting forester David McMath will lead a moderate hike -along with landowners Henry Coe and Allison Van Akkeren- to explore their two conserved properties.
Bring a bag lunch, water, sturdy shoes.

2. The Greensboro Land Trust and Sisters Gail, Bernadette, Amie and Kris of the Green Mountain Monastery invite folks on a more modest hike to one of the brooks traversing the GMM's land.
