Hi neighbors,
Reminder that there is another meeting/pot luck to discuss the possibility of a Curtis Pond Association . August 27th at the Maple Corner Community Center. The meeting will be from 5-6pm. Pot luck to follow. A small group met recently to work on a draft of bylaws. There have been 2 meetings of a larger group at the MCCC, and the majority of participants seem to be in favor of a Pond Association. Many seem to be concerned about the overgrowth of water lilies. I am hoping that at some point soon, committees can be formed to work on the water lily issue, beaver debris removal at the dam, (they've been active lately!) help with removing and preventing invasive plants and more...
