The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention holds an annual community walk in hopes to raise money to spread awareness and help reduce the rate of suicide in our communities. This will be my fourth year raising money in honor of my mother, Connie Allen. My mother was known by so many through her community impact as the previous Sheriff. She was so vibrant, loving and dedicated to all she knew. I hope to continue to honor her by raising money for this organization.
