9th Annual Blue Flames Concert and Community Picnic on the Weston Green

On Sunday September 3 from 5:30 to 7:30pm, everyone is invited to a free concert by the enchanting Blue Flames Steel Band who for the 9th year are donating their talent and time to honor the nine pioneer women who 131 years ago turned a smelly frog pond and muddy swamp into what is now called the most beautiful Town Green in Vermont.

Pack a picnic basket, come to this festive community celebration and see the results of our 130th Anniversary Rejuvenation efforts with the freshly reseeded grass and soil cultivation, tree work and new lamppost at the park’s north entrance.

The “Ladies of the Green” in the spirit of their ancestors, welcome all to join in the fun with and especially thank the Blue Flames for their participation, amazing good will and support!
