Sister Lucy Kurien is the founder and director of Maher, an Interfaith, Indian-run, non-government organization based in Pune, India. Maher serves three Indian states with excellent homes for children, crisis shelters for women, homes for disabled adults, and extensive grassroots community projects focused on women's rights, education and sustainable financial growth.
