We’ve taken to the streets – now we’re taking to the streams!
Join Lake Champlain International, Vermont Natural Resouces Council, Conservation Law Foundation and the Vermont Chapter of the Sierra Club directly on the Water for a paddle protest of ongoing water pollution.
When: Thursday, August 31st,
Time:10:00 a.m.(10:30 am Press Conference:)
Where: Taylor Street Parking Lot-Montpelier.
RSVP Required at: https://sierra.secure.force.com/events/details?formcampaignid=7010Z000001usgIQAQ
We will paddle the path of combined sewage overflows in Montpelier to highlight the downstream impacts of toxins, pharmaceuticals, pathogens and gutter waste. Bring your boat or board and join us! The exact paddling route will be dependant on current water levels.
Help us end the onslaught to our natural resources.
