In support of the Friends of the Winooski River annual river cleanup, the Middlesex Conservation Commission is organizing volunteers to cleanup a section of the Winooski as it passes our community. The event is September 9th from 8:30 - 12:00. Last year we met at the Three Mile Bridge (on the road of the same name). we are exploring other options, but may return to the same stretch, more details to follow.

If you are interested in volunteering, please respond to this post or call me at 802-309-1629. We are also looking for a few old beater boats for ferrying rubbish out of the river.
