Join us at Royalton Memorial Library - located at 23 Alexander Place in South Royalton - for the Coen Brothers' O Brother, Where Art Thou?

Loosely inspired by Homer's Odyssey, O Brother, Where Art Thou? tells the story of three escaped convicts in Depression-era Mississippi. Their goal: to find "treasure" and Dapper Dan hair product. Along the way the convicts will meet a "cyclops" (John Goodman), the "Sirens", and will hear the story of the blind prophet "Teiresias". More than treasure, however, Odysseus - in this case Ulysses (George Clooney) - attempts to thwart the plans of his wife's suitors and reunite his family.

This film is Rated PG - 13 and runs for 107 minutes.

The Library's Summer Film Series is an air-conditioned program and participants are invited to bring whatever seating is most comfortable for them.
