The Calais and East Montpelier Historical Societies will hold the August meeting at the East Calais Recreation Center on Monday, Aug. 21, starting at 6 PM with a Potluck Supper. Bring your favorite dish.
Each Society will hold a brief business meeting following the supper.

The program for the evening will be Early Schoolhouses in Calais and East Montpelier, which will be led by Gail Graham and Elliott Morse. They will welcome comments, questions and stories about any, and all, of those schools. Some of you now live in some of those Some of you now live in some of those old schools.

All are welcome, and we welcome new members. The EC Rec. Ctr. is located in the same building as the Post Office, at the junction of Moscow Woods Rd. and Batten Rd.
