It's the annual “roasted corn in the husk” dinner. Of course, FFA co-founder Jerry Carpenter will be leading this effort, as he does every year. Other long-time FFA cooks will be helping out as well. Come join in the fun for a festive evening and an excellent dinner. It's the perfect menu for this time of year.
The menu:
- Green salad with apple slices, crazons, and maple balsamic reduction dressing
- Sweet corn roasted in the husk with butter
- Pulled pork or tofu sausage
- Sides: potato salad, cole slaw, vegetarian baked beans
- Watermelon for desert.
Dinner starts at 5 PM. Bring family and friends, the more, the better! Downtown Richmond at the Congregational Church. Come in anytime during this 2-hour affair from 5-7 PM tomorrow.
People ask us how much they should donate. We recommend $3 - $5 per person, but if money is tight, no need to donate anything!
