Did you ever attend a small local schoolhouse? Do you know or wonder what it was like to be in a one room school? Even if you went to a "brick and mortar" school, we invite you to attend the monthly meeting of the E. Montpelier and Calais Historical Societies on Monday, August 21, at 6:00 p.m. at the E. Calais Recreation Center just off Rte. 14 in E. Calais on the Moscow Woods Road. There will be a potluck supper - bring a dish and your own place setting. Brief business meetings will be held followed by a discussion of the "good old school days" led by Gail Graham and Elliott Morse. For questions contact Sandal Cate.
