LEARN ABOUT COLONIAL HERBS AT THE JOHN STRONG MANSION FREE ADMISSION DAY
The Vermont Daughters of the American Revolution has announced that a special free event at the John Strong Mansion Museum has been scheduled for Saturday, August 19th.  At 1 pm Susan Ferland, curator of the Mansion, will be giving a talk entitled: “Herbs: A Colonial Housewife’s First Defense”.  There will be no admission charge for tours on Saturday. The Mansion is open for tours on Saturdays and Sundays from 10-5 from Memorial Day through Labor Day.
