Vermont used to be covered by a mile-thick ice sheet. What 'tracks' did that ice leave on our local landscape? Join UVM geology professor Stephen Wright on a walk in Bolton Notch this Saturday from 9-11 am. We'll look at landforms and sediments that help us interpret how the ice sheet receded as our last ice age drew to a close.
Meet at 9:00 am at Wheeler Field -- at the intersection of Nashville and Stage Roads in West Bolton -- to caravan to the site. Carpooling encouraged.
