Sep 21, 2017, 7 to 8:30 PM

As part of the "Pushing the Limits" book and talk series at the Jeudevine Library, Jerry Schneider will be leading this discussion of ARCTIC DRIFT by Clive Cussler. It is a fast-paced suspense novel dealing with sabotage, an historical expedition that tried to discover the Northwest passage through the Arctic, gas prices rising and climate catastrophe approaching. The discussion and talk series features science, engineering, math and technology and though this is a suspense novel, there is a lot of science in the book. The series is funded by the National Science Foundation.

There will be desserts from the Magic Spoon Bakery and cider. Door Prize: whoever wins will get a $20.00 Gift certificate to the Galaxy Bookshop. The first ten people to sign-up get a free, new copy of the book! Call the library to reserve a copy. Once the free copies are gone the library will have extra library and interlibrary loan copies available to check-out. For more information call the library at 472-5948 or www.jeudevinememoriallibrary.org
