REVIEW / RECOMMENDATION 5 STARS --- This is the best place I've ever been to pick Organic Blueberries in Vermont and I've been to all of them! First off It is neat and clean - no ticks or tall grass to tromp through and so many Blueberries to pick. They are like grape clusters. I picked 20 lbs in record time - 1.5 hours! They have a 'Grand Opening' for August and lowered the price from $3.75 to $3.25 and that's for Organic Blueberries! They are in Saint Johnsbury on Spaulding Road - a few minutes from Dog Mountain. The farmer gives you a brief tour and shows you her Organic Certification, etc. She created these beds where you can sample the berries so there's no guilt. She did talk about saving the beautiful berries for customers who want to purchase, but encouraged me to eat the "Uglies" - that's what she calls them. So there are no guilt feelings while picking. She also doesn't make you stay on one row. There's like over 2000 bushes but they are young and only about 3' high but loaded with berries. If you have knee, back or hip problems she has a smaller orchard with chairs! Great place and very nice people who run this farm. Can't remember the hours but here's their number 802-274-2365.
