The Brookfield Historical Society is hosting the annual Helen Daly and Margaret Stone Ice Cream Social, on Sunday, August 13th, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Marvin Newton House, located on Ridge Road in Brookfield. A special exhibit featuring winter tools and inventions, made or used in Brookfield, as well as historical winter clothing will be on display. Visitors will also have the opportunity to view the Marvin Newton House in its entirety. All are invited.
