Summer Soirees is pleased to present two more concerts this weekend presented by Mel and Ynez Kaplan at 3022 Spear St., Charlotte.
The first features Julian Scwarz on cello accompanied by Marika Bournaki on the piano. The program is called “Romantic Cello”. The second is on Sunday at 2 pm at the home of Bill Racolin on 724 Lake Road in Charlotte and is called “Highlights from Gilbert and Sullivan” featuring William Metcalf, directing, and the Oriana Singers and instrumentalists. And mark your calendars for the Basin Harbor Grand Finale at 8 pm on August 20th! This program is hosted by Penny Beach and will feature a program of all Mozart hand picked by Mel Kaplan, Founder of the Vermont Mozart Festival and originator of the Summer Soiree series. Reservations requested, $25 at the door.
