Waterbury Rotary's 35th summer of “Concerts in the Park”
Event: August 10th, 2017, 6:00 PM to 8:30 PM
Once again, this Thursday, the Rotary Club of Waterbury presents FREE musical concerts at the Rusty Parker Memorial Park in Waterbury Village. This week, the “Phil Abair Band” will perform high energy dance music. Come join the hundreds of family and friends that will be bringing their lawn chairs, blankets, and picnic supper or purchase your supper from a variety of vendors on site. As usual, the Rotary will be serving free ice cream while it lasts and during the performance, will be selling 50/50 raffle tickets the proceeds from which directly go to defraying the cost of the bands. Come early and shop from the numerous booths set up by the Waterbury Farmer's Market, 3:00 - 7:00 pm.
On the following Thursday, August 17th, “Mountain Weekend” will perform roots music.
