The Town of Chittenden celebrates Chittenden Day on Saturday, August 26 at Barstow School. The Sap Run begins at 8:30 am with registration beginning at 8:00 am. The parade begins at noon and travels from the Powerhouse to the monument. Please arrive early as the route will be closed during the parade. Opening ceremonies will be at 1:00 pm. The day will include live music, vendors, food, crafts, old fashioned games, and a silent auction. There will be a chicken BBQ at 5:00 pm. The cost is $8.00 for adults and $6.00 for children under 12 followed by free ice cream offered by the Chittenden Public Library. The fireworks display will be at 8:45 pm.
