This coming Wednesday, August 9, New York State-based Roger Street Friedman will bring his top-flight band to Middlesex for the last concert of the 2017 season at the Martha Pellerin – Andy Shapiro Memorial Bandstand. Friedman, who has opened for Los Lobos and The Blind Boys of Alabama, has garnered acclaim for his album, The Waiting Sky, with original tunes recalling the sounds of Jackson Browne, Randy Newman, and Bruce Hornsby. As always, the concert is free, and food will be available from Mediterranean Mix and Chill Gelato. The Bandstand is located on Shady Rill in Middlesex. This is a performance not to be missed!
