On August 8th, beginning at 7 pm, Sherril Bover-Cheney will be with us to Explore Alzheimer’s Disease. Sherril will cover the warning signs that concerned people might look for in themselves and in loved ones and she will discuss some basic caregiving concerns and options.

Sherril was caregiver and advocate for her mother, Mary, who died of Alzheimer’s disease. She has
facilitated support groups for family caregivers and worked in education and community outreach for the Alzheimer’s Association Central California Chapter. Her book, Compassionate Strategies for Dementia Caregiving will be available at her session.
