Burlington Cohousing (East Village Drive off East Avenue) is hosting a House Party to educate ourselves about the current status of the 4 final bids for Burlington Telecom and the decision process involved. We invited our two City Councilors Sharon Bushor and Richard Deane to attend but they cannot due to the confidentiality of the process. Board Members from Keep BT Local Cooperative will be there to present the details about their bid and the financing for it. We hope other bidders will also come and present details of their proposals. The Police have given us permission for folks coming to this event to park on East Avenue. There will be refreshments. Hope to see you there. It promises to be a very lively discussion.
