This Saturday, August 5th, there will be a FREE fishing clinic and derby at Gilbrook Pond in Winooski thanks to Vermont Outdoor Kids, a non-profit organization with the purpose of getting kids outdoors fishing and hunting!! Registration will be from 7am-8am. The clinic will take place soon after with the derby following. There will be two groups competing: group 1 is for ages 10 & under and group 2 is for ages 11 to 15. We will have 1st, 2nd and 3rd in both groups. One lifetime license ($400 value) will be awarded in memory of Tristan Wentz.

Hot dogs, water and chips will be served after the awards. Participants will receive a free t-shirt while they last, first come first served . The first 50 kiddos to arrive will receive a free rod!

Adults must remain for the duration of the event. Childcare is not provided. Good sportsmanship is a must, with bad conduct you will be asked to leave.
