Art Exhibit and Reception During August at Library

A local Art Group, FOMAH ( From Our Minds and Hearts), will hang an exhibition at Fletcher Free Library opening August 2 in the Fletcher Room.

There will be a free reception 2:00-5:00 pm on Sunday, August 6, with art, music, and refreshments.

The show features senior artist Dorothy Perry, a local Vermont watercolor artist. Unframed works by Dorothy Perry are available for purchase and can be taken home the same day. All proceeds from the sale of Dorothy’s work go to the Fletcher Free Library.
Other local artists include Deni Bergne, Julia Boynton, Cynthia Close, Susan DeClue, Nancy Ellis, Joyce Reddy-Bradbee, Karl Sklar, Claudia Stoeffler, Lea Terhune, Pam Valance, Mary Western, and Margy and Sandy Zabriskie.
Among the arts shared are painting, photography, writing, jewelry, and stained glass. Many are available for sale.

On Wednesday, August 9, 6:30-8:00 pm, and Saturday, August 26, 3;00-4:30 pm, Cynthia Close and friends will read selections from their recent original works of prose and poetry.
