String Trio Concert
Sunday, August 6, 2:00 – 3:00pm at Stone Valley Arts at Fox Hill (145 E. Main Street, Poultney)
Trio members are Olya Hopkins on Violin I, Roxanne Ramah on Violin II, and Marina Smakhtina on Cello from the Champlain Philharmonic Orchestra, a community orchestra which performs every spring and fall in Addison County and Rutland County, under the direction of Matt LaRocca.
Program to include: String Trio in G Minor – Alexander Borodin, Trio Sonata in G Minor – RV 81 – Antonio Vivaldi, Airs and Graces – a nice collection of gems of the Baroque era by composers Charles and Samuel Wesley, J.H. Roman, Thomas Arne, W.H. Bird, and Pachelbel.

This FREE program is held in the SVA Gallery, so please come to hear some great classical music and view George Bouret’s show of original photography featuring portraits of people, individuals and families posing (sometimes in costume) in front of a painted backdrop, taken at Vermont art fairs since 2006. Photo documentaries of Architecture that range from classic interiors, to one of a kind shops to historic bridges. Panoramic Landscapes from New England, the south west and Alaska. Plus you can check out the old stone church (former Masonic Hall) built in 1822!
