In celebration of World Breastfeeding Week, the Chittenden County Breastfeeding Coalition hosts the BIG LATCH ON! Friday, August 4th at Sand Hill Park in Essex 9a-12p. The Big Latch On takes place at registered locations around the world, where women gather together to breastfeed and offer peer support to each other. Their friends, family and community join this celebration to promote and support breastfeeding. ALL supporters of breastfeeding are welcome (dads too!!), whether currently nursing a little one or not! Registration starts at 9:00am. The Latch On begins at 10:30am sharp!! We have an AMAZING raffle with TONS of great prizes! Wildflowers Studio to entertain the kiddos and free face painting! Plenty of FREE sweet treats and other yummy food and drinks for everyone!
