Richmond Congregational Church to host the next local American Red Cross blood drive on August 16 from Noon to 6PM. We hope the later times will help attract folks coming home from work. Eligible donors can call 1-800-RED CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or go online to redcrossblood.org for more information and to make a blood donation appointment.
Those with appointments are able to help minimize the time it takes to donate. To further reduce your wait time, consider using RAPIDPASS (http://www.redcrossblood.org/rapidpass), a pre-donation & health history questionnaire.Complete it on line on August 16 before you arrive to donate.
The blood bank is in serious need for donors of all types, whole blood, double red, and especially platelets. Summertime offers us so many activity options. Please consider donating blood as both a rewarding experience and an opportunity to make a difference in a patient's life.
