The Braintree Historical Society would like to invite the community to "Old Home Sunday" at the Braintree Meetinghouse on August 06. This long-running annual event celebrates the rich history of community in Braintree, centered around the iconic 1845 meetinghouse. The day begins with a hymn-sing, led by Bill Brigham at 1:30 followed by an ecumenical service led by Reverend Ron Rilling. The acoustics and 19th century atmosphere of the meetinghouse make the hymn-sing and the service a truly special experience. Refreshments will be served following the service.

In addition, the Historical Society maintains an inspiring museum of artifacts from Braintree and beyond on the Meetinghouse's ground floor, which will be open for the day.
