Worried about climate change? Want to connect with a statewide network/community of climate activists? 350 Vermont's summer pop-up series (“ a mix of a traveling roadshow, a listening tour, a fierce commitment to climate justice, a set of powerful workshops and trainings, the excitement of overnight summer camp, and incredible climate leaders from across the state") will make its final stop in Bennington August 8-11!
Stop by our pop-up tent traveling exhibit about the movement for climate justice, featuring a raffle, info booths, art, postcard-writing, kids’ activities, the chance to share your experiences, and more! The tent will appear in four Bennington County locations: the Bennington Farmer’s Market (8/8, 3-6 pm), the Left Bank in North Bennington (8/9, 10 am-5 pm), the Manchester Farmer’s Market (8/10, 3-6 pm), and Willow Park in Bennington (8/11, 9 am-1 pm). Each site will also host other activities such as workshops or cantastoria performances. Highlights include a talk about fracking and a cantastoria/art-making workshop with Jabari Jones. A full schedule of workshops and other programming can be found at http://350vermont.org/pop-up/.
