Near the northern end of Lower Dover Road is the faint remains of soapstone quarrying that dates back to the early 1800's. We will meet at Newton House at 9 am sharp and carpool to the site. The walk in will include some grown-up brushy areas, as well as typical, more open woodland walking. Please bring bug spray and wear long pants.
