Collaboration with VPIRG

With Washington DC rolling back important protections aimed at keeping our environment clean and our people healthy, it’s critical that we as Vermonters hold the line and show that another way is possible. VPIRG is helping Vermont fight back but they can’t do it without you.

VPIRG is holding this forum in the Brandon Town Hall on Tuesday, August 1st from 6:30-8 pm!

Join VPIRG to collaborate with neighbors on how our community can resist the current administration, work with VPIRG staff on various program areas, and gain the skills necessary to engage with media and legislators on the local and state level. Our best chance of combating impending federal attacks on the health of Vermont’s environment, people, and locally-based economy is empowering ourselves to take action!

Who: Community members in Brandon, Sudbury, and Pittsford

What: Collaboration with neighbors and VPIRG staff to learn about the policies and skills that will help us fight back against attacks on our air, water and people emanating from Washington DC… and there will be snacks!

When: Tuesday, August 1st from 6:30-8 pm

Where: Brandon Town Hall

Why: There are things we can do, right here in Vermont, to hold the line and show that a different way is possible!

PS—In an attempt to minimize waste, please bring your own cups/reusables for the refreshments.
