Summer Buy Local Market on the State House Lawn

Organized by the Vermont Agency of Agriculture, Food & Markets as part of the State’s Local Food Wellness and Consumer Awareness Initiative to help provide consumers with an ideal occasion to taste, learn about, and buy Vermont agricultural products from across Vermont. We are thankful to Hunger Mountain Co-op for sponsoring the entertainment and to our many partnerships that help make this event possible from the Vermont Buildings and General Services, Agency of Administration, Capital City Farmers’ Market, Waterbury Farmers’ Market, Barre Farmers’ Market, the Vermont Farmers’ Market Association and the Northeast Organic Farming Association of Vermont.

Farm and food vendors from all across Vermont will be set up on the State House Lawn in Montpelier for a celebration of all things local. Get a taste of summer while you mix and mingle with local producers, enter raffles for great prizes, hear live music by the Hokum Bros and enjoy performances by Farm to Ballet presented in partnership with Hunger Mountain Co-op!
