MIGRATION will be shown on Thursday, August 3 at 248 Washington St. Ext. in the backyard gazebo. This is the final evening of Mongolian movies this summer. MIGRATION (2016) won awards in San Francisco, Estonia, and Berlin and has been selected by Vermont PBS. This will give you a chance to hear the behind-the-scenes story of making the movie, see the precursor movie called Dukha Reindeer Herders Moving (2004) and learn about the progression of working with nomadic herders in Mongolia for 24 years. Come hear plans for the next documentary.

Please bring a chair. Suggested donation $10 for Nomadicare, a non-profit organization which preserves traditional Mongolian nomadic culture through films and stories.
