Past event
Aug 10, 2017, 6 to 7 PM

This month's "Food for Thought" will be featuring Julie Wolcott from Green Wind Farm. Join us at Bent Northrop Memorial Library on Thursday, August 10th, at 6pm, to learn more about this local farm!

Green Wind Farm in Fairfield is a 300 acre diversified organic homestead owned and run by Julie Wolcott and Stephen MacCausland and family since 1979. The farm produces milk and maple syrup for retail and wholesale markets plus fruits and vegetables for 3 families. The conversation with Julie will include the history of the farm since it was settled in 1800 and the "maturity" of the farm under their care. Apple based beverages, both hard and sweet, will be available to sample.
