Upcoming events: Marshmallow Challenge on August 1st @ 10:00 am at the Grand Isle Library
Kids come and meet Jay Buermann (South Hero civil engineer) and learn all about what it takes to be a civil engineer. We will get to do a fun task …. in eighteen minutes, teams must build the tallest free-standing structure out of 20 sticks of spaghetti, one yard of tape, one yard of string, and one marshmallow. The marshmallow needs to be on top. Prizes will be awarded! Suitable for kindergarten on up! Please sign up so that we can have enough supplies on hand!

Willard Sterne Randall documents an unremitting fifty-year-long struggle for economic independence from Britain overlapping two armed conflicts linked by an unacknowledged global struggle. Throughout this perilous period, the struggle was all about free trade.
