What is #GivingTuesday?
We have a day for giving thanks. We have two for getting deals. This year help us create #GivingTuesday. A new day for giving back. On Tuesday December 3, 2013, global charities, families, businesses, community centers, students and more will come together to create #GivingTuesday.
It’s a simple idea. Just find a way for your family, your community, your company or your organization to come together to give something more. Then tell everyone you can about how you are giving. Be a part of a national celebration of our great tradition of generosity.
Giving to local charities can create a significant impact on the members of the community. Keep your money local when you shop and give.
Our Community Cares Camp improves the lives of local children by giving them summer food and an engaging enrichment camp. We hope you will consider donating to OCCC this Giving Tuesday. Donate online on OCCC's Facebook page or on the website ourcommunitycarescamp.org. OR mail to OCCC P.O. Box 503, Richmond, VT. All Giving Tuesday donations will be entered into a drawing for Bolton Valley lift tickets.
So donate your time or your money to a local charity on Giving Tuesday. I hope you will consider OCCC as one way of helping your community.
