The Ramble, back for its 14th year. Celebrate the summer of ‘17 by coming out to the O.N.E.’s biggest bash. Plan your day with this link

http://theramble.org/2017-ramble-map-and-guide/

It’s got a readable and printable version of the guide, and you can scroll through a window of links with detailed facebook event pages.

Like an under-funded prom, this year’s Ramble theme is “Under the Sea”! Along with perennial favorites such as Field Days, Epic Bike Ride, Decaturfest, and The Ramble Round-Up, this day-long celebration of everything O.N.E will include a talent show, acupuncture, and food trucks!

O.N.E’s Got Talent--a grassroots, homegrown showcase of traditional (and not so traditional) music and dance from all over the world/our neighborhood, including local hip-hop heroes A2VT! Speaking of talent--catch the underground sounds of the Steph Pappas Experience amongst her sea of roses!

Come help with an interactive art installation that will transform Dewey Park to an underwater oasis! Participate in live community TV with CCTV! The current political goings-on making you wonder about your health care future? There will be an optometrist, tarot readings, and healthcare advocacy support, to help you “sea” better! Let your body be buoyed by morning with yoga in Battery Park or a chair massage at St. Joe’s.

Ahoy, mateys! Set sail for a yard sale or 10! Some of our fanciest ‘hoodmates will be hawking their tchotkes, gowns, bikes, books and more! You’ll find hidden treasures around every corner. Looking for something a little higher brow--hit up a “y-ART sale” and buy a little culture. Speaking of art--there’s something for everyone! Film, video, paintings, shamanic objects! Art only fills our cup so much, there is also all of the amazing food and drink you can only find this side of Pearl Street!

PLEASE “email author” to volunteer! Sell Ramble merchandise in one-hour shifts between 6-9pm, DLC certified? Check ID’s between 8:30-10:00pm. Help take down the stage and general cleanup, 10-10:30pm.

See you at The Ramble!
