Lake Iroquois Garden Tour July 29

Please join us for the Lake Iroquois Association Garden Tour, Plant Sale & Wine & Cheese Party on Saturday, July 29th
FREE AND OPEN TO ALL
1-2 PM: Open gardens at 3 “Lake-Wise” properties. Owners will give
tours and explain their efforts to create a healthy shoreline for the
lake. There will be light refreshments.

2-4 PM Amy Picotte, Lakeshore Manager, Vermont Dept. of
Environmental Conservation will lead a tour of 3 properties that are in
different stages of development. Meet at 2 PM at Steve Reiman's
property at 1084 Beebe Lane

4-6 PM - Wine Party & Native Shoreline Plant Sale

Chris Conant will have a selection of native plants for sale
that are appropriate for shoreline planting.
Amy Picotte will answer questions on best practices for
shoreline properties.
Randy Kay and Corrinna Panapay, District Manager,
Winooski Natural Resources Conservation District,
will tell us about the shore erosion projects taking place on
Lake Iroquois right now and how she can help get grants to
work on your properties.

Look for “LIA Garden Tour” signs at all the properties by road and
shore.

Parking for the tour: You can park at Chris Conant's on
either side of the road and walk up to the first stop on the tour. For
those who have trouble walking, there is a limited amount of parking at Reiman's.
