Mary's Summer Film Series continues this Sunday at 7pm. Come early to order dinner before the film, or enjoy our limited movie menu during the show.

This week's film is Billy Wilder's Sabrina (1954)—Linus and David Larrabee are the two sons of a very wealthy family. Linus (Humphrey Bogart) is all work—busily running the family's corporate empire. David (William Holden) is all play—technically employed by the family business, but never shows up for work and has been married and divorced three times. Meanwhile, Sabrina Fairchild (Audrey Hepburn) is the young & awkward daughter of the Larrabee's chauffeur. Sabrina has been infatuated with David her whole life, but he's hardly noticed her . . . until she goes away to Paris for two years and returns a sophisticated & elegant woman.

It all ends up a Shakespearean love triangle, with all the best parts of a romantic comedy thrown in. The film was nominated for 6 Oscars, including Best Screenplay, Actress (for Hepburn), and Director.

Reservations can be made by calling 453-2432.
