Solar Eclipse Program with Daniel Seeley

Why do eclipses occur? Why are solar eclipses so rare? What is so special about the corona of the sun? What is an Alien wave? Learn the answers to all these question and view images of past solar eclipses. This is the place to ask any question about the upcoming eclipse on Aug. 21. Daniel Seeley has a BS Physics from MIT and PhD Physics and Astronomy from Boston University He has formerly taught Physics and Astronomy at Framingham High School, MA and has worked at the National Solar Observatory at Sunspot, NM on Sacremento Peak, elev 9200 ft and detected Alven waves in the Corona for the first time.
