VPIRG Discussion at Springfield Town Library

Past event
Jul 25, 2017, 6:30 to 8 PM

With Washington DC rolling back important protections aimed at keeping our environment clean and our people healthy, it’s critical that we as Vermonters hold the line and show that another way is possible. The theme of this year’s VPIRG canvass campaign is “Vermont Fights Back” – we’re helping Vermonters make their voices heard and we can’t do it without you.The Springfield Fights Back Forum on July 25th is an opportunity to collaborate with your neighbors on how your community can resist the current administration, work with VPIRG staff on our various issue areas, and gain the skills necessary to engage with the media and legislators on a local and state level.

Collaboration with neighbors and VPIRG staff to learn about the policies and skills that will help us fight back against attacks on our air, water and people emanating from Washington DC… and there will be snacks! Tuesday, July 25th from 6:30-8 pm, free at the Springfield Town Library. Click here to RSVP: http://action.vpirg.org/site/Calendar?id=100825&view=Detail
